emchywords that are thinking about becoming poems are running around under my skin
but for now, just the satisfaction of a good and actually relaxing weekend
sat = sleeping in late, going out for bfast, heading to target, not rushing at all, buying a small amount of fun things, coming home and deciding to do the unexpected. instead of regular neighborhoods and predictable lunch surprised the mister and went to andrew jaegers house of seafood in north beach. i was hoping the lunch would be cheaper and give us a chance to check it out before committing to a full on dinner experience. live jazz, wait, GOOD live jazz, and the most amazing food i have had since Rita's in N.O. and in fact, better because the range, and not just my favorite was good. then to city lights and i bought the new FENCE and then home and relaxing and then to the de young with mister and rose, but the line was crazy. so relax more, watch mad tv, pplan on getting up at 4am to go back to the de young and cuddling enticed us to sleep through the adventure, the best plan ever
sun = lazy, woke up late, made bfast and drank coffee. did the chores, hung more halloween decoration, wow it's fun to hang stuff outside!, went to trader joes, hit some thrift stores and mr. s for costume (and other) ideas, went and got the dog, ambled around maclaren park, nature sun nature yay! then stopped by the pal's to drop off the show recordings, hung out with herm and maggie the wonder dog, making lucky VERY happy, went and got some ice cream at maggie mudds and now home to relax some more, throw the windows open and breathe in what feels like summery fall air.
this is the weekend i have been waiting for. i wish it was one day longer, but i feel really good. i want more north beach, i want more poetry, and i want more cuddle... thankfully, that is all doable.
