Come and see the one and only HOBO LOVE TOUR and get ready to  be amazed by Waltzing Matilda the One Beer Prophet (formerly known as J. Wilber and Reverend Jess Duggan) and Cindy Emch (aka Emchy) of Vagabondage and Rhubarb Whiskey as they embark on the Hobo Love Tour!

That's right, folks – these two talented tattooed ladies are following the harvest moon during the month of September, starting out in Beer City and then following the curve of the big river down to St. Louis and New Orleans.   Then, they'll be cutting back east to descend upon Louisville, Kentucky and, of course, the City of Big Shoulders.  They'll be spilling drinks and breaking hearts through the rust belt and the south.  Whatever you do, don't miss this daring duo!  It's a once-in-a-lifetime experience that you'll never forget!

Sat. Sept 13
Cafe Bremen - 901 E Clarke St, Milwaukee, Wisconsin

It is only fitting that these two hard-drinkin' ladies start their tour off in the drunkest city in the country!  This show features very special guests Eat the Mystery a postmodern cabaret troupe serving up their songs with whiskey & enchantment!

Mon. Sept 15
Pop's Blue Moon - 5249 Pattison Ave, St Louis, MO

Well, God bless yer crooked little heart - St. Louis got the best of me.  This show features very special guest Pete Kartsounes a full timin', singin'/songwritin', mountain hikin', Colorado dwellin', bluegrass pickin',
bike ridin', soul singin' man!

Weds. Sept 17
Neutral Grounds - 5110 Daneel St., New Orleans, LA

We wish we were in New Orleans - and soon we will be!  If you are so inclined, come see the Hobo Love Tour and then do your own magical performance; open mic follows at 9 p.m.!

Thursday September 18
w/ Ratty Scurvics Singularity & My Graveyard Jaw

Hi Ho Lounge - 2239 Saint Claude Ave, New Orleans, LA
This show promises to be a real good time, with very special guests My Graveyard Jaw who started as a clown, all the while writing & performing songs from his trainhopping days, and Ratty Scurvics Singularity who walks ratty with his babydoll looking for a good funeral for the past!

Fri. Sept 19
Ray's Monkey House Cafe - 1578 Bardstown Rd., Louisville, KY

Kentucky: The Bluegrass State.  Kentucky - does not mean "dark and bloody ground," but nevertheless, you're likely to hear some murder ballads at this show!  The Hobo Love Tour is excited to play at a venue fulla fellow freaks & caffeine junkies!

Sat. Sept 20
Heart of Gold - 3036 N Lincoln Ave, 4th floor, Chicago, Illinois

The homecoming show, in the City of Big Shoulders!  Featuring special guests Charly 'The City Mouse' Fasano - he tells stories about his travels, nightly experiences in dive bars and his self-deprecating attempts at relationships - and infamous clowngirl Lucy Bruise as well as more guests to be announced!

Jess Wilber Bio

Waltzing Matilda hails from deep in the heart of the Rust Belt, a melancholy yet ruckus-raising clowngirl if ever there was one!  See! her do pseudo-stripteases to the sounds of Dixieland jazz!  Hear! her squeeze and strum her twisted take on Americana!  Listen! to her cut up jackpots, yarns spun about her traveling adventures!  Watch! as she makes you laugh and cry with her silly hobo-clown antics!

Hear her amaze you and see her wares on the lovely websites http://sadandbeautifulworld.net and http://www.myspace.com/onebeerprophet.

Cindy Emch aka Emchy Bio

Emchy comes from the lonesome, fog-drenched port of San Francisco, an accordion-playing beauty beyond compare!  Hear her play songs of hard-drinkin' and hell-raisin' on her accordion!  Listen to her share with you poetry that'll set fire to your soul!  Watch her closely, for she has surprises in store!

She is also the nefarious accordion component in the bands Vagabondage and Rhubarb Whiskey. Her adventures with Vagabondage are legendary including performances at the Hubba Hubba Revue (2008 Best of the Bay Variety Show), and other sordid venues in California.  You can hear her songs on the myspace pages of
Vagabondage & Rhubarb Whiskey.
