omg the weather here is gorgeous today.
i feel like i am taking care of myself. and here's how.

reading new book of poetry that is kicking my ass with inspirey. random inspirations and writing of poems. two in two days. WOOT. just had some wheat grass. man that is like drinking the best parts of summer. caesar salad with roasted salmon for lunch with asparagus on the side - woot for buffet lunch. getting the ducks in a row to leave here with things firmly in place for success at the old job. my new yellow awesome mermaid necklace from smallstages  and my newish wonderful wood earrings from final_girl .

Job Opening

Production Assistant / Junior Copywriter (contract)

 

AtomFilms, a division of MTV Networks, is seeking a contract employee to write copy and assist in the promotion and publishing of content. This position is based at Atom’s downtown San Francisco offices.

 

• Start Date: Monday March 10
• Project Length: 8 weeks (may extend)
• Hours: 20-40 hours per week

 

Responsibilities:

• Write copy for publication on the Atom website
• Schedule when and where content is promoted on the Atom website
• Use content publishing tools to ensure that content, information and creative assets are presented on the Atom website on schedule
• Assist in the distribution of content to Atom partners
• Support Atom’s editor and project management team on various projects

 

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years professional experience in similar roles with Internet content and/or community websites
• Strong copywriter / proofreader able to write concisely, crisply and – most importantly – with a strong sense of humor relative to Atom's comedic video content. (Please demonstrate via published clips/samples.)
• Organized, hard-working, deadline-driven
• Experience entering data using web forms and databases
• Comfortable with Word and Excel
• Web project management and QA experience is a plus
