emchyi am so confused about the job - the cutting down of hours, what is it really going to look like going from five to two days a week. the co-worker realized oday that yesterday was our last monday together - so sad. it will be good in the long run though.
home and he lady just ran in and out again in less than 10 minutes. i got to load her up with food and then send her back to work. thank goodness her ex is helping out so much or the lady would be truly freaking about the amount of work to do between now and thurs when the fest opens.
personally i feel kind of numb today. it's day two of the diet and i am sticking to it really well today. sadly there wasn't enough $$ for a big grocery trip before i began this journey and so now i am snacky and kinda hungry - but there isn't a lot for me to eat in house.AND i can't drink tonight at the bar. no BIG deal, but you all know how i like my one shot of makers mark. sigh.
made a flyer for the radio show today. tomorrow i will make sure that the open mic is posted online everywhere - that's the goal. talked to a nice lady from th e chronicle today - we'll see if that pans out or not. she was cool though. of course after blah blahing for 30 minutes we hung up and i thought of all sorts of brilliant sound bytes to say... oh well. live and learn.
hell maybe i need a shower. maybe i need some alone time. maybe i need to get some discipline and write and work on art for a night or two. it's just so unsettling to be in the middle of a job transition. i am so excited about the new job, and i am getting lots of emails about it, but it's hard to take real action until after friday. funny thing - the board co-chair sent out an intro email and said that i already was the position that i am supposed to get evaluated and promoted into. i suppose that's a good sign :)
i think i should make more coffee... maybe that will help. i just feel so foggy.
