Please, do not assume that just because I host an open mic and am an (apparently?) well-connected person, that I see each and every and all calls for submission that are out there circulating, nor that I get so many private invitations that you needn't bother alerting me to other opportunities.
The truth is, though I occasionally will spot or get emailed a posting - I could really use the help / support of pals sharing the calls that they see and receive.
In return, I promise to do the same for you -- that is, forward calls I think are appropriate for your writing (and/or post them here).

Also check out www.instantcity.org. They make a literary journal of all things San Francisco. (I think they’d really love anything using your imagination to towards you love of the 1920’s, just be sure to locate it in SF.)
