an exercise in patience

emchyI am have the second of mondays in a row
you would think by wednesday this would chill out
went to hall of justice today to deal with a traffic ticket that stated on it, if i didn't appear there by 1/23 there would be consequences. ok, i am a responsible monkey who doesn't like getting pulled over or having bench warrants so i went in, only to find out that the ticket isn't even in the system yet and i could've just waited to get something in mail someday. ok, only 2 hours wasted in line, but top it off with the panic of realizing i lost my drivers license. ugh. found it within 30 minutes of my panic, in the trunk of my car, in a coat pocket from dancing the other night. sigh. stress of my own creation.
get to work to receive a message from the lady. she cannot find the cat, has been looking for 30 mintures and has to go to work. damn escape artist kitty. damn non cat liking dogs downstairs. visions of splattered cluecat and viscious chow dog downstairs sends me onto emaotional rollercoaster as i drive home and hunt for kitty. look around for 15 minutes, search the yard, panic panic tears tears rattle the food bag once. twice. third time mz. sleepypants stolls out of the bedroom, where the fuck was she, but at least she ok. so now i am pissed at her, tho it's not her fault, but mama did not need all of this before noon.
i just want the day to get a little better.
