so i am going to start keeping track of my loves of various cheese and wine.
i am usually a grab what packaging i like sort of gal -which sometimes means finding new treats
but often means not being able to repeat those treats.
for now - why the hell didn't i ever get turned on to tinern cheese before? i bought a welsh tintern with shallots and chives this weekend and HOLY CRAP IT"S AMAZING
and the four year old cheddar... the perfect sharp. i could even love a little sharper... but it's good...
as for wine... the new bottle last night was fine but didn't offer any exciting surprises

Date: 2006-10-16 08:48 pm (UTC)The Bow's cheese dept rocks. They have my favorite from Asturias, Spain where I lived on a farm a million light years ago. The cheese is called Queso de Cabrales(goats). I'm very grateful that I can get some whenever I need that stinky cheese fix.
