5. what are you listening to now/have listened to last: my BFF just put out some awesome songs with her band and my new current favorite is the default clip playing on her myspace page right now http://www.myspace.com/inspecthergadget - it's the 1 Night Stands Returned Rings one - love it - also in current rotation: Dresden Dolls, Tom Waits, Tool and Metallica

7. if you do, what is particularly good/bad about it: the more personal and detailed you get, the better ... I'm all about personal details.. I like seeing windows into people's lives.. that's one of the great things about LJ... I've gotten to know some amazing people I might not otherwise have known or gotten to know nearly so well
8. an interesting fact about you: I was born feet first... and I also had a vision problem that, until corrected, left me with no depth perception... so my world was 2 dimensional until I was about 8.. I adjusted by guessing distance based on the largeness or smallness of whatever I saw so I was actually not always running into things.. but the doc said my world constantly looked flat like a picture... I had no frame of reference so to me, it wasn't odd.. but he had my mom put on glasses to emulate how I saw things and she tried to grab a coffee cup and knocked it off the counter, then tried to walk and stumbled and was incredulous.. wondering how I'd managed to navigate the world like that.. that was a neat moment, having special glasses that showed another person how the world looked through my eyes.. I've always wished for magic glasses that could do that for each of us
9. are you in love/have a crush at the moment: nope! and that has historically been a rarity, but I'm taking a year off from romance
10. favorite place to be: in the "golden moment" spaces of creativity (such as intense conversation, playing music, sex, etc.), and connection where both/all participants are fully engaged and fired up and sparks are flying and you can taste the electricity in the air and feel the furnaces glowing in everyone's belly

I don't know how long I've known anyone or where I met most people.. that doesn't mean I don't think you're amazing, though, cuz I do, it just means my memory is being its typical unpredictable self.. it retains randomness and forgets stuff I'd like for it to hang onto... I'm guessing we met through mutual friendses via LJ or in person at some local shindiggery... or was it through my ex? could be through my ex, come to think of it
