today was such a comedy of errors to get home. first - i head away from the job and to the castro. yay it's drink night. woo hoo whiskey with the old new friend. we'll call her whiskeypal. anyway - on the muni train, halfway there, i think... are we meeting next week? a flurry of phone calls and appt book checking and walking around the castro confused finally inform me that yes - i am not only not late, i am entire week early. heh. ok. so... looks like i am heading home after all. so i walk the hill back from the castro just for kicks and pick up the 7 for the last few blocks. i think i see an ex-flameliner on the bus and go over to say hi. hi hi hi. i am super friendly. i am all - the sun is out, the day is gorgeous, la la la. a minute later she is all, my name is sasha. oh. this isn't the person i know. in fact, i realize i am in the middle of a serious sort of pick up flirt because i totally thought i knew this person. oops. it's ok. she's nice. and then behind her, my friend R who i never see enough. so it was hilarious. he was all - we are everywhere. heh. homos everywhere. sasha left the bus, i stayed on for a while to catch up with R of the double life and it was all good.

i still think it's funny that i indadvertenly was picking up on this butch thing on the bus. and i was so much goofier than i ever would be in a pickup. hilarious. the mister thought it was pretty funny too. when i told her about it later. sheesh.

apropos of nothing; look at the take of the manhattan they do at winterland. i was swooning at their menu the other day and the drink menus is FUCKING AMAZING. i want to go bar sit there. Their Bellini looks like it will make me weep into my drink.
