as you may know - i am heading to portland i have only books for guides and want to find the rad, poetry, artsy, queer, cool shit this may seem obvious, but it actually didn't work out so well last time
argh, I've only been there once, for 36 hours. I didn't see much except for the inside of pint glasses and Powell's and some pretty parts of the city. (I always love a city with a river in it.) you will find stuff and have fun. oh! random memory: there was a cafe called Dot's, I think- very hipster-cute, funky decor, pool table. but that doesn't really help you. is there a craigslist for Portland?
I'm at home now, hurray! pretending to watch the debate. problem is, I can't stand GW's voice. it makes me want to leave the room and retch every time I hear it. at least I'm trying to hear Kerry out. gack.
