it is morning
i am nit hungover
i am not feeling bad or too worried
i am looking at my new office with what feels like piles and piles of to be organized. someday i can actually begin the creative / planning the event part of the job. right now it all feels like creating infrastructure. not a bad place to be - but july feels very close and i would rather be planning body workshops and yoga under the stars than figuring out how to network the printer and waiting on hold with sbc to get them to fix the voicemail glitch.
and then there is my check... hopefully it comes today. the financial transition from one full time to two part time has not been an easy one with check timing so far.
it is my nieces birthday. 10 years old. i hope she is more innocent than i was at that age. it breaks my heart to think that odds being what they are - she probably is not. however - considering that they didnt think she would make it to five years old... (congenital heart defect) this is a very happy day.
