emchythank you thank you thank you wonderful people! just freaking fabulous reading last night. finalgirl, blackpearl10, fresh!, mario, elsa, meliza, DAMN people, that was some good word slingin!
and of course thank you to the LJ people in the house. tnkgrl, lilahwild, borggrrl, beckastar, katasutra, charliegrrrl, badgerbag, nadinelet, brownstargirl and bionicfemme for coming, listening and giving some good writer love to the room.
one of the best parts, big fat full moon sitting out the window, like a present for all of the readers to look at while they channelled some damn good magic.
it was a bright spot in what is a hard time for me. thank you.

Date: 2005-06-22 11:17 am (UTC)Let's just say that for German movies about gay soccer players (some of whom are leather people -- quote of the film, for me: "You're getting in shape! I can barely get a grip..." "Does this mean I can't enter the Mr. Bear competition?") I am so the target audience.
And I haven't heard as much cheering/applauding/laughing at a movie since Hedwig at the Castro -- and this was in the Victoria.
