emchyyawn. stretch. neck roll.
i am completely dazed this morning. the sexy beast had to get to the mission by 8am. which means somehow that my alarm didn't go off. dressed and fed the critters and fed myself and to work in 20 minutes. but i cheated, i have a scarf on my head.
i have been eating rice and corn tortillas. they affect me like a drug. a very fattening and lethargic drug. hopping off that gravy train today.
i keep just wanting to walk away and find my smile. once the coffee hits the path will get clearer.
i think i am checking out of a friendship without meaning to. which is of course completely different than checking out of a friendship on purpose, which i am also doing.
started tearing out our living room carpet last night. decent hardwood floors under there. got permission to refloor it if needed to deal with the cat pee issues. lots of furniture to be moved. but tearing up ugly carpet is kinda fun.
evil neighbor yelled at the landlady yesterday. the electric is included in the rent see, since it's an old victorian, and she just gets one power bill and pays it. the bill was $500! so she was going around to the two apts and the relatives that live with her and just asking folks to pay attention to the power usage. not yelling, not cranky, just hey keep an eye on it. he called her a motherfucker and THEN said how mad he was that he wanted to grow pot and couldn't there and that she was impacting his ability to bring in extra $$. he is in rare form these days. she is over it, finally. he has been harassing us a little more, but yelling at the landlady about us a lot more. the standard quote is something like "well what about those GIRLS upstairs..." ugh. i actually think that he is both crazy and evil. he actually told landlady that he only cares if his behaviour upsets her, anyone else, why should he? they aren't his landlord. nice. way to be a good neighbor.
oh and the cops are scoping out our street somewhat constantly. lots of robberies. fun.
