still job hunting

so it looks like my resume doesn't quickly answer the question of : so what does she do. 
and so sadface it looks like the job i wanted shan't be mine
and time to brew the coffee and start the resume reorganization

that said it made me think about what i do.

i manage and curate short form web content from both a marketing and project management standpoint.

the other way to say it is that i am the safety net catch all for interdepartmental chaos organization for web based content that gets the job done under deadline.

and yet another way to say it is
dude i put the funny videos / blogs / games online in a cool way so the sponsors like it and we get more hits.

Things that may be useful resume-wise:

- Give yourself a title (e.g. Cindy The Shit, Content Curator & Project Manager)
- List core skills and experience as bullet points before anything else (e.g.
- Curate and project manage short form web content
- Craft and edit marketing copy and supervise copy editors)

Now, full disclosure: I totally quit Current last year because -- as a company -- it's pretty messy. However, my v. v. v. good friend Shana is the hiring manager, and she's SO AWESOME OMG. And even within a messy company, she has carved out a niche to continue to do work that she loves, and is learning a lot.

So, in short: The company is kind of sketchy. But the position has the potential to still be rewarding. If you're interested and want to orient your resume toward it, I'd be happy to pass it along to her.
