My b/f is from CA and we are considering moving there. The problem is, I don't feel like CA is "home" to me. Perhaps I just haven't given it a fair chance. What do you love about living there?

where is home originally for you? california has a ton of different landscapes, cultures and weathers captured in it. i like that i can see mountains and the ocean from my house, that the weather is like michigan autumn all year long, that i can sometimes smell the ocean on the air from downtown sf and that i can drive 15 minutes to the east bay and walk through a redwood forest or sit in a hot summer backyard and enjoy some beer. there is some of the best food of any culture within a 20 minute drive and if i really need some summer lake activities there are places within 2 hours where i can rent boats and jet skis. there is camping, there are wineries, and just a ton of awesome things.
