still sneexy sniffly and a bit icky. was out in the world yesterday and had some of the "you know you're sick when" moments. sigh. i know i am still sick when i try to get a sugarfree peppermint mocha and the staff person tells me that the sugarfree mocha isn't on the menu yet and the bottle they have is only for staff samples and i almost started to cry. not a reasonable reaction to a coffee beverage. sigh.

after that auspicious beginning rooster and i went to the fillmore to look at books and then to her brothers for a little while. his girlfriend - lets name her - marin jazz - had a health scare and wanted our company to help her laugh and not think about the test results. it's funny - she was blunt about it. "i want you guys over to help me laugh and listen to music after what happened today" that sort of request you fill. no questions asked.

it was fun. she lit a fire. there was a lot of laughing. we came home too late considering that i am still feeling under the weather. but its all good. it's foggy out here again - a watching movies on the couch day - however i am getting a bit stir crazy. maybe its a sitting in a cafe somewhere else and being cozy and writing sort of day.

i feel overwhelmed and sad by looking over 2007. not sure if i will actually come up with any sort of retrospective at all.
there are charming memories but i am so full of static in my head that i can't see the forest for the trees.
