Barry Bonds has now gone where only one man has been before him: to home run No. 755.
With his second-inning homer off the Padres' Clay Hensley on Saturday at PETCO Park, Bonds tied Aaron's cherished Major League Baseball career-best home run mark, and after the next one, he will be all alone in first place on the all-time list.

Date: 2007-08-05 03:07 am (UTC)as for bonds. many people in professional baseball, football, etc use substances that enhance their performance. yes guys are clean. and they suffer for it. see jt snow. awesome first baseman. totally clean. and with an even playing field would prolly have been a hall of fame contender.
however - bonds is not a lone wolf offender. and while we don't have absolute proof whether he has or hasn't done steriods is really not the issue for me. it can be for you. i cannot define how you do or don't feel about it. however i would appreciate taking this is a disagreement and please go elsewhere to get support for your feelings around this issue.

jt snow should be in the hall of fame for saving the baker kid's life. bonds will end up being the posterboy for an era of baseball everyone will be ashamed of. I hate A-rod, but man i hope he can get the record

what bonds has accomplished is amazing and he would've nailed this record at least a year or two ago if it wasn't for everyone walking him....the pitches he doesn't flinch at....i gasp, it's like he read them before the pitcher even knows what he's going to throw.
but especially fuck anonymous haters...ya done good disabling that cindy.
