emchy1. owls remind me of my cat. cat = love. thus. owls = love.
2. strawberry is just a distraction from rhubarb
3. online journals are neat - i just wish i could read them on paper.
4. a whole day with babies. lots of babies. lots of sugar. lots of babies. omg. zonk. crash.
5. i did my taxes. i owe approx $974 less than i expected to. this is most happy making.
6. i got buttons with owls and trees and happy oh my on them. borggrrl gives good gift - hot damn.
7. a friend got her one month sober chip today. i am so incredibly impressed and amazed by her. she rulez.
8. a room of people singing a song from my childhood. omg. love.
9. being invited to good things - and being allowed to say no for self care. wow. holy shit. that's a big deal.
10. i sent in the other thing with the stuff. again wow. holy shit. responsible and doing art self care. that's a big deal.

#6. I'm glad you like them! When I picked up the tree buttons I thought, "Yes!" I hadn't realized that I'd actually gotten excited outloud until I saw the cashier in the little store giving me an odd look. I'd wanted so much to bring you back something from London that was YOU and when I saw those buttons, they instantly said to me, "I must belong to the monkey!"
