emchyi just ran out for lunch
to bernal hill - where i saw a hint of blue sky
there were beach converse in my trunk
so i switched out rain wear platforms for the old canvas sneakers
and in short skirt, tights and nice sweater i ran all the hell over the park
i said hi to dogs
i smiled at everyone
i smelled the grass
the wind gave me big swishy hugs
and the sun shone on me, until i got back in the car and drove to the office
45 minutes of running and mud and grass
small amounts of coughing and wheezing - made it even better to deep breathe the fresh air
i wanna go back
but even for a moment
it was wonderful

looks like i found the only 45 minutes of sunshine in the day
lucky me
i wish it had held onto my brain for a little longer
the sun goes down and my mood feels dark...
