emchynight owls get no peace
up not so late
not wanting bed
wanting to stay up
work
write
feeling the obligation
to suck it up
go to bed
be the good worker bee for tomorrow at the job
that matters...
i am afraid to let myself stay up
and write
what lies there
that i haven't let myself have
now bloated on sinful foods
beer and potato chips and jimmy stewart movies
i am in a lethargic kapra haze
of do gooder propaganda
it's a wonderful life
if you give up your dreams for the masses
go be a good cog
and ia m tired and gross and i want more
typing in the mted rainbow glow of a xmas tree
i say
i. want. more.

Make sure you have a good time in MI. Watch out for the deer! Btw, I saw two the other night in the Oakland hills. Had my pals from London in the truck. They were way impressed.
