as a word - it's not one that tends to be in my world much. to describe anything really. awesome, amazing, gorgeous, etc are often used to describe people, nature, art, etc. but not the word pretty. maybe it's because it sounds old fashioned to me. or something. like the relationship the color pink and i used to have. a relationship i still have with most pastels.
a recent party bucked this trend, but as it was a title and not just a word being used it still didnt really penetrate my brain.
last night the word pretty caught me off guard. i liked that quite a lot.
