So this is pride weekend in sf. and yes it means that many of my homo queerbot siblings are running around like squirrels with adhd trying to do more than anyone possibly can. omigod. bouncy bouncy bouncy. ok. here are some thoughts for Friday.
First - the 2nd Annual TransMarch. 3pm Dolores Park.
This is a big deal. This is big fun. This is important. But like i said, the kind of important that is also fun. and THAT my friends, is rare in this life.
Next - QUEER OPEN MIC
Now i know you're concerned, how can i do QOM? I am going to the Tranny March. Well! while you're marching with your tranny family you will in fact walk/march/run skip right the heck past the TBLG Centre, and the Three Dollar Bill Cafe which just HAPPENS to be where Queer Open Mic starts about a half hour later. So keep on marching (yell wave, say hi) and then run on back to get your performance groove on - sign up is 7:30, show at 8pm. Fabulous features are Atypcl and Peter Anthony Pizzi doing fabulous radical art things. It will be super fun!

someone JUST told me about this superfun party happening at Rawhide. Not sure if i am hitting it but YOWZA it almost feels like how can you cram that much fun into a night? i have faith in you. you can do it. and... it's for a good cause.
