Re: i'm really curious
Date: 2004-11-23 08:27 am (UTC)new mexico i have mostly only see through intense and gorgeous thunderstorms while i drove through
although if you stop in albuquerque there are some fantastic queer cafes, and right near an organic food store, which saved us as we bough road trip food to sustain us through vegas
are you going NM up to Seattle? beware those mountain highways and when they close for weather - we had to drive super farther north (and windy roads) than we wanted when crossing to the CA side in late april because all the roads were still closed for winter
ah, how to avoid maryland & delaware, took the more central south eartern route from Mi to Florida hitting just the corners of some of those eastern states - and on a different trip used rhode island as my nexus point and never went that far south
but now that you mention it - i think i flew in to baltimore once
wahoo
add another state!
Re: i'm really curious
Date: 2004-11-23 10:33 am (UTC)no, i think it's just going to be NM with the seattle and portland part happening who knows when.i didn't realize sea&port were only 3 hours apart. i think of everything out three being really, really far.
interesting routes. this country is so different on the ground than what it looks like from the maps.it's amazing.really incredible that it takes me as long to get up to jersey as it does for me to get to michigan, but that's because atlanta is pretty far west, which it doesn't look like on the map.
b-w-i is one of the cheaper airports out of the country.
mmmmm. travel. i love travel.
