Well then I guess the miles per dead deer ration is not so bad after all. lol.

A road trip is high on my agenda for next year.

actually - considering some of the backroads i take - the miles to deer ratio is really good :)

road trips are wonderful
I seem to be doing one across the country about every 1.5 years now

the next one i want is to drive to new orleans - except i am not so into the southern route from here to there

of course there is always the SFO to NYC trek
haven't done that entire route yet...

i love road trips
let me know if you wanna borrow a cross country travel guide when you go - we have two and a road trip usa one... you can looky on friday if you wanna

about how you've managed to avoid maryland & delaware.
my eastern girlhead is bewildered (up and down, up and down, va-dc-balto-philly a well worn road).

i also love road trips.it's necessary to make at least one biggy a year.i'm excited because next year, i'll be hitting NM for the first time.
after that, i'm after seattle & portland, from which i fear i won't return.

oh... you know you are centrally located to zoom off to many places
from mid michigan, if you stop only for gas and diet cokes, it takes 16.5 hours to drive to new orleans... so it's even less for you

think about that on upcoming long weekends
in less than one day...
if you leave at 6am
you'll be in the big easy
before 8pm probably

seattle and portland, especially being only 3 hours apart are amazing
new mexico i have mostly only see through intense and gorgeous thunderstorms while i drove through
although if you stop in albuquerque there are some fantastic queer cafes, and right near an organic food store, which saved us as we bough road trip food to sustain us through vegas

are you going NM up to Seattle? beware those mountain highways and when they close for weather - we had to drive super farther north (and windy roads) than we wanted when crossing to the CA side in late april because all the roads were still closed for winter

ah, how to avoid maryland & delaware, took the more central south eartern route from Mi to Florida hitting just the corners of some of those eastern states - and on a different trip used rhode island as my nexus point and never went that far south

but now that you mention it - i think i flew in to baltimore once
wahoo
add another state!

wow, how quaint--roads still closing for winter ;-)

no, i think it's just going to be NM with the seattle and portland part happening who knows when.i didn't realize sea&port were only 3 hours apart. i think of everything out three being really, really far.

interesting routes. this country is so different on the ground than what it looks like from the maps.it's amazing.really incredible that it takes me as long to get up to jersey as it does for me to get to michigan, but that's because atlanta is pretty far west, which it doesn't look like on the map.

b-w-i is one of the cheaper airports out of the country.

mmmmm. travel. i love travel.
