emchyyesterday morning i finished the fucking fantastic novel that i was given as a gift mid week. ok. i have NOT been reading enough AT ALL. consider this: got novel wednesday. started reading thurs am muni ride. brief 20mins over lunch. then nothing until 45 prebed mins. the fri am muni ride. again 20 mins for lunch. the sat morning, until it was done. i miss novels like that. getting their claws into my brain like a bag of those horriblly wonderful addictive cheddar and sour cream potato chips that i am not even allowed to buy because i will not stop eating until the bag is empty. love love love love love the book. want want want want the prequel and sequel NOW NOW NOW.
omigoodness. i love fiction. can't write it worth a damn and don't want to. i can leave that to those who are better. and i have high standards, but damn, this was one bastard of a great novel. woot.
and now, i am just jonesing for more.
