emchywhew - finally i have caught up on my friends pages since i was last able to look through yesterday. as usual, i love you chatty motherfuckers :)
today was a little crazy. i had a dr's appt that ran over an hour late, and then the bus was full of characters, and so the ride took an extra 20minutes, and once in the office, after lunch, walgreens made me wait 20 minutes just to tell me that my insurance wouldn't cover the new medicine and it might take a couple of days while they talked to my doctor to sort it out. YEESH! and of course it was the day when i had a noon deadline, and reports due and and and. so it's been a whirlwind, and i stopped any of my daily link web checking and just powered through, reorganized my desk and now can take a moment to just BREATHE that i am catching up.
still have to write something for writing group. have a personal deadline that is not the writing group piece that i need to work on and i have this very silly idea that i will start being more on top of it and caught up by tomorrow.
i have a hope and a desire to really be done buying the family - have to ship to michigan - gifts by thursday. i have a hope and a desire to see both king kong and brokeback mountain with the mister by the end of the week. i have a hope and a desire to keep not eating bread this week and to go to see the friends i love this weekend and to not completely exhaust myself and to really slow down enough or speed up enough to do everything that i want for the holidays.
tangent - but not exactly. anyone have recommendations for special romantic getaways that are either in the woods or near the ocean or both in northern california?
