i love it when...
Dec. 6th, 2005 11:28 amphilosophical questions completely 180 my headspace
and instead of thinking about numbers and stats and promoting films
suddenly
i want to stomp out into the woods
and write poetry about the smell of frozen mud on a river bank
and that last hill on the hike that led to the creek
that in the winter you had to slide down because the mud would freeze into ice
and if you didn't grab a branch or two to slow down
you ended up ass first in the crik
so much more there that is filling my brain
and now
it's covered by new homes and development
so my brain is the only place i can see it anymore
i wish i could scan the mental image
and print it out via photoshop
