i was looking and finally found more, almost accidentally, about an old friend, an ex friend online. damn i miss her. but some ties don't ever get mended, no matter how the hearts are feeling. anyway, looking and seeing trends, how close and yet not our circles and aesthetics are. she is shiny latex fetish for haute couture fashion. i am rowdy leather for fun with tattoos. yes, we both have tattoos and piercings. she is more Goth, where as i tend towards accidental goth. she is bisexual sex positive, i am queer sex positive. we have worked for the same places and even when we were roommates, we were so close and yet our circles barely intersected. it's still that way.

sometimes i wish i could turn time around.
i wish i hadn't been so scared and young and not knowing how to take care of myself except to cut her off. funny thing, when you cut someone off, sometimes, you can't have them back.

sex positive = believing that women having sex when and where they want is a good thing, i say women specifically because sex positive as a term generally resides or originates in feminist camps and is used by folks who frequent or work for feminist sex toy stores

difference between bisexual sex postive and queer sex positive, is nil. which in some ways was my point. though, in this specific case, my crowd was usually more folks who were primarily same sex daters with the occasional het fling, and hers were primarily opposite sex dates with openness and occassional homo flings. what surprised me was that this demographic of people who were our friends was so different.
