i feel like i want to jump out of my skin. the show was good tonight. i mean good good. some real hot shit. i laughed so hard, and had such a raging good time. went and grabbed baobab food after. yummy tropical salad. tofu gumbo. ginger tea. felt so good after. much better than if we had gone to cancun which was the original plan.

after i wanted to go do something, get a drink maybe, but mozaroni was stalking some actor at the xy theatre and so no old roomate time at the lex for me. weird that my old neighborhood bar is the only real dyke bar in town. i used to make sure to only go early to enjoy the neighborhood-ness of it, and avoid the cruising factor. now i am amused by the cruising, but still, i didn't want a mahattan so badly that i was going to go sit alone in a bar to do it.

now i'm home and still have a bunch of energy but whatever. i might work out before bed to get rid of some of it. glad to be home with my family. wish that i was on vacation somewhere so that i could make up reasons to go back out again. but work comes early again tomorrow and then i am free for a week. from no days off to many days off. let me apologize in advance if i go out of town and miss something fun. it sounds like me and the lady are going to try to get away. swim in a lake or somethin...

what about the wild side west - another dyke bar in town

true, there are others, but the lex is really the one that is known by most, wild side west is like this wonderful secret to locals, and thus, doesn't have the same level of action packed drama in a really tiny space. that said, i like www more, but it's harder to get folks who aren't bernal and aren't car motivated over there...

no disrespect to the cortlanders meant AT ALL :O)
