Nissa Jackman and The Gallery of Urban Art are hosting a fund-raiser to benefit Milestones, a company dedicated to the early intervention and education of autistic children.  The purpose of the event is two fold.  One is to raise funds for scholarships and the possible creation of new programs provided by Milestones not covered by the school districts or other financial assistance programs for their clients.  The other purpose is to raise awareness and encourage further education about autism, particularly the importance of early intervention programs like Milestones.

The event will entail an art auction and poetry reading of local artists and poets who have graciously and enthusiastically contributed some of their best work for the event.  The auction will start at 5:00PM and close at 7:30PM.  The performances will begin at 5:30PM and should conclude by 7:30PM.

Artists include: Paul Gallo, Sarah Stevenson,Todd Donahue, Thinh Hoang, Ilima Gorsich, Jo Sutton, James Kalin, and Nissa Jackman.

Poets include: Cindy Emch, Loretta Clodfelter, Gabrielle Myers, Dennis Somera, Aries Hines, Cheryl Demesnil, and Dillon Westbrook.

Adorable but DEADLY

Ok y'all - this is the new awesome action / horror / spoofy / campy film we just released.
OMG awesome. It's got a message too. See due to global warming the permafrost is melting and so killer possums are coming to get humans. You know they killed the dinosaurs right? And then... oh sheesh - just check out the movie - then you will understand teh awesome.

PET FOOD RECALL EXPANDED - again

Pet food manufacturer Menu Foods expanded its recall Thursday because of possible cross-contamination between melamine-tainted products and other foods made in the same period.

The expansion includes cuts and gravy pet food, as well as other products that were not made with the contaminated wheat gluten supplied by ChemNutra Inc., but were manufactured during the period the chemical-laced gluten was used.
