side note: happybabyauthor i have never shared such a profoundly tasty pizza experience with anyone, except maybe claire with the chicago pizza at 3am in actual chicago - but i digress and well... you already heard that story.

so in essence people - i know i didn't mention everyone. (please forgive me for that) but that said - markedformetal's reading tonight at Femina Potens was awesome. THe afterparty at Lucky 13 was also grand.

I was thrilled to see all of those mentioned above as well as special heart glitters for: mr_heathen buckysinister pantryslut anarqueso and later nickdandy as well as some new shiny LJ pals whose names have left me in my makers mark haze.

The bartender wore a Dolce and Gabbana knit cap and it was one of those nights where every conversation felt very San Francisco. Why on earth would i ever move. I got home. I found easy pants parking and now i am on this hilarious geekery that is LiveJournal. Rock the fuck on with your web 2.0 selves.

whoops

so - this morning i have learned a lesson
it is ok to drink a bit too much whiskey
it is ok to start the day with coffee and espresso
it is ok to have an apple for breakfast
it is ok to try out habanero chocolate chip cookies

it is NOT ok to put all of these things together
which i have done
and my body is the battleground
fighting out my bad decisions

it is official - i totally do not feel well
i wish i could say it was hangover
however
a cold entered the office yesterday
and now it is following its usual route
which is
my boss
then my team partner and i get kinda woozy
by all accounts we will be knocked out tomorrow
then it hits guy 3 and the other chick gets woozy
by friday we will have all had to stay home at least once

can i say i hope not and keep blaming the whiskey / spicy cooky / no real bfast combo?
