Apr. 8th, 2006 07:55 pmso it happened - actually got outta town and damn that felt good. couldn't find the park we wanted so we just drove down sir francis drake blvd in marin until we found an old fire road that looked good to walk down and did it. many pics were taken but the camera was left in the car. later they will be shared.
mom called this morning. actually at 6am. all the usual bells and whistles of bad news went off in my head. but knowing my mother - i let her leave a message, then checked it. yes she forgot the specifics of the time change again and was SO EXCITED that she got a laptop that she had to call RIGHT AWAY. but on the good news, when i woke up again 4 hours later, i called her and we talked for about an hour. she misses me. which she said in an email later, not on the phone. but its good, we haven't talked since january and it was good to reconnect. she sent me this pic of her and my dad in hawaii on their second big vacation ever which happened in feb. here are the emchy parents :)
I was happy for them that they went. married for 30+ years and the last time they treated themselves was when i was seven or something. so - it seems good for them.
feeling good and up with people tonight. mellow. happy. it is all about the trees. i swear. so now - i listen to mildred bailey, drink a beer and just friggin relax. finally.
