so many manhattans later i made it through my first ever office holiday partay. and it was a good thing. made some bonds stronger, started some new ones, and basically made it very clear that although i may be a quiet worker bee in the office, it's not really who i am. so i got to be charming. and fun. all of which is amazing considering that i left work yesterday incredibly depressed and feeling just crappy. the sad i posted about yesterday morning just never lifted. but i somehow shrugged it off as soon as we walked into the holiday festivities around 8:30. with some help from sherilyn i found a sub for the radio show so that i wouldn't panic attack my way through having too much to squeeze into too little time.

tonight is the open mic. very excited. my mood is lifted. my heart feels lifted. and although there is some lingery stressy stuff going on, most of my office, boss included, are moving so slow with the either too much drink and/or too little sleep that i feel like uber worker as i am zipping about online, trying to brainstorm more PR for the cute little queer xmas film i posted about the other day, and just feeling like maybe now i will click a little more with my office people which i like.
