i remember my first pride, right after i moved here and -- specifically -- my first dyke march. i can't tell you how powerful it was to see all the queers and think, i'm not alone. i can find a life like this. i'm not doomed.

i think it's as much for the baby queers as for the rest of the world. like, look, it's possible.

and it's good.
