Apr. 22nd, 2005 04:45 pmlong story short - now that eveery has gone home from work and I finally take a break and catch up on everything...
i am a good person with a strong work ethic. what i have learned in years of non profit dysfunctional relationships is how to push back, nicely, firmly and how to refuse to be a doormat. i am good at being an assistant. more importantly, i am better at being a director / coordinator and can smell the toxic pall of assistantship being put on me from miles away. thankfully here i have support in fulfilling my director role.
that said - i got cranky, got productive and was a very good employee today. to the extent that time allowed. i also got so happy and excited about the fantomas show that i cried on the street about it. didn't realize how much i missed live music like that to make my soul get lifted.
very good
now i must go.
