Date: 2005-03-30 11:03 am (UTC)i am drawn into thinking about this - so many of the kindest people i know also are known as cruel by others - and then there is the whole mean / villian as sexy issue
it all came up because i was thinking about how sexy robert mitchum is - and how many people i have talked to think that he often looks cruel or mean in films...
so my train of thought went off on why does that aesthetic (and usually not the behavior) appeal to me so strongly
