emchyok i got three cd racks, hold about 800 cds total with a little room to grow on
they have solid bases so you don't need to attach them to the wall and are birch with metal accents (darker silver not shiny metal)
they are free but you have to come and get them
here are two pictures

here is one with a couple of cds on the shelf
they're about chest height on me.
