a little thing

what did you have for lunch?
why did you have that?
how did it make you feel?
I had a chicken club sandwich
I wasn't really sure what i wanted and chicken sounded like comfort food. it came with melty pepper jack cheese and bacon so i thought it might make my cranky sick self feel better
it didn't. the comfort of home promise was broken with bacon that wasn't cooked enough and a stomach that couldn't handle the richness of the cheese or the focaccia. however the company was good and it was nice to try to eat something more substantial. also the protein was good for my energy levels and though i still feel sick - i am even keel sort of tired sick.
your turn.

Date: 2007-10-30 11:25 pm (UTC)I usually go minimal for lunch, since I don't take terribly long for it.
For some reason, the combination made me sleepy. I'm delighted to have so little of the workday left, but every minute is a chore.

Date: 2007-10-31 02:43 am (UTC)It was filling without making me tired. I felt less assaulted by eye drugs. I wanted coffee with it but I refrained.
I hate undercooked bacon, too. Bleah. I want crunchy or chewy, not limp.
