how long do you wait to google them?
and how does the google result effect your opinion of them?

ex: i googled someone after i first met them, within 24 hours
i saw they were prolific with their art online
it impressed me.

Depends on how much I'm thinking of them - if they are really fascinating me, right away.

But if you find their website, you gotta be stealthy because they might have referrer logs. OMG! Paranoid browsing habits. googlecache! :D

depends. oddly, it often takes until the second time i meet someone. and sometimes if i feel like "oh, this is my new friend, we're friends now" then i will forget to do it altogether. but! if i have been seeing someone around, and then i actually meet them, get their name? right away i google. totally.

only if I have a huge crush on them and met them more than once, or if they "do" something that I think might be searchable, like being a writer...I've searched you before!

I do, however, always look on myspace and friendster for them.
