Frameline
Founded in 1979, Frameline is the nation’s only comprehensive nonprofit organization dedicated to the exhibition, distribution, promotion and funding of lesbian, gay, bisexual
and transgender film and video. The San Francisco International LGBT Film Festival is Frameline's signature event, and for nearly thirty years the Festival has been bringing new
and rare works to Bay Area audiences. Frameline also distributes more than 150 LGBT
films and videos to television, theaters, colleges, libraries and community groups across
the country, and helps to bring queer work to the screen with its Completion Fund grants.
The Position
Frameline seeks an experienced, highly organized individual for the position of Travel Coordinator for frameline29, this year’s San Francisco International LGBT Film Festival (June 16–26). The Travel Coordinator is responsible for scheduling and coordinating
Film Festival VIP guest travel and accommodations, producing guest itineraries and maintaining databases. In addition, the Travel Coordinator will be on-call during the
Film Festival to handle unexpected travel changes.
This is a temporary, non-exempt position, beginning half-time on April 25, going to full-
time on May 2, and concluding with two-half time weeks from July 4 through July 15.
Work schedule requires expanded hours and flexibility during peak periods. The salary
range for the position is $5,000–$6,000 depending on experience.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have strong planning, organizational and communication skills,
and the ability to prioritize demanding multiple responsibilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the motivation to work both independently and as part of a team. Experience
in nonprofit event planning is highly desired, as is knowledge of LGBT film.
