emchylast night when i shut down my fully functioning gateway laptop which runs windows xp
the computer asked to install updates before shutting down
i said okey dokey computer - you rock out your new fancy updates
this morning - it will start - get my desktop pattern up, get the rainbow swirly icon, then the little computer looking monitor up, and then nada - freezy pants
help?
ETA: problem is solved (prolly) but i will have no internetz tonight. so please with the calling (scary) if you want to get me - fixin is happenin tomorrow
