Founded in 1979, Frameline’s mission is to strengthen the diverse LGBT community and further its
visibility by supporting and promoting a broad array of cultural representations and artistic expression in
film, video and other media arts. Frameline’s integrated programs provide critical funding for emerging
LGBT filmmakers, reach hundreds of thousands with a collection of more than 200 films distributed
nationally, and create an international stage for the world’s best queer film through the San Francisco
International LGBT Film Festival and additional screenings and cinematic events.

HE POSITIONFrameline is seeking an energetic and independent Development Associate/Database Administrator with a
passion for fundraising and LGBT film. The Associate is responsible for database management and
activities to secure funding from foundations, government agencies and individual donors in support of
Frameline’s annual fund. The Associate is also responsible for managing Frameline’s Membership
Program. The Associate reports to the Associate Director of Development. This is a full-time, exempt,
position with excellent benefits. Work schedules require expanded hours and flexibility during peak
periods. The annual salary will be commensurate with the candidate’s abilities and experience ($35,000-
$50,000).

Generate segmented mailing lists for special events•

Work closely with Associate Director of Development to identify prospects•

Coordinate logistics of direct mail appeals
Receive and respond to member inquires•
Draft acknowledgement letters and renewal notices•
Administrative Duties
Research individual donors and compile profile information•
Coordinate volunteer support for mailings and development projects•
Coordinate production of Development marketing materials•
Coordinate fundraising events including invitations, RSVPs, volunteer support and logistics•
Draft and supply IT department will membership and development website updates•
Maintain donor files and records•
And other projects/duties as assigned by the Associate Development DirectorT
