YES. I've had it make people uncomfortable and it's been pretty much given as part of the reason some of my friends are now former friends. However, I've also had people tell me that it makes it easier for them to open up to me, people who normally aren't comfortable opening up to anyone, so I'm trying very hard not to see it as a character flaw.
