long days - light is staying longer, but i am still feelin kinda iffy on the genreal health / stress issues

but - feeling romantic and full of stories and dreamy and wanting to give myself sometime to hear and think and write to celebrate the new year. it's the year of the dog. dogs are charming and eager and trustworthy and earnest and happy. i will invite more of this in to my life this year.

had a very close long term friend email me with some sadness tonight. and i told her - if it feels real, go balls out, it's always worth it. that is my advice to myself this year. go balls out.

that said, i am actually happy living here again for the past couple of years now. crazy. for so long i just wanted to move move move keep on moving move move move. i had a zillion places in mind. and i want to live in them all someday, but right now, here is still where it feels like i belong. in the next week i have an art / writer event or meeting to go to every single day until next sunday and even then, one week from monday i have plans to go and drink 18 yr old whiskeys in the castro and catch up with a new friend. i can't shake a stick at that. not at all. now lets hope in all of that there is time to listen to the people around me and give hose that i love enough time to know that they're loved.
