Hosted by Cindy M. Emch and Sherilyn Connelly, QOM hopes to bring together writers and poets at every level, aesthetic, ethnicity, age and gender to share art, enthusiasm and some damn good times in the name of community, revolution and activism.

Juba (aka pointfivefag) is most recognized for his work as a founding member of Deep Dickollective (D/DC) and development of the label Sugartruck Recordings. His most recent accomplishments include serving as Festival Director for East Bay Pride 2003 and curator of the 2nd and 3rd Annual World HomoHop Festival. D/DC’s 2nd full length CD “ The Famous Outlaw League Of Proto-Negroes” is out now..His second solo effort “Oogabooga Under Fascism” will be released in late 2004.

Don't miss QUEER OPEN MIC hosted by yours truly on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of every freakin month! Why? Because poetry is revolution and art is not an option...
