so as it turns out i actually just get to enjoy a birthday with a friend tomorrow. that is way better.

last night was so good.

boxlunch all rocked the open mic with

lunamaia and

bionicfemme in attendance plus some other wonderful people that are LJ moniker deficient but were otherwise grand and wonderful to see. i think the QOM's just keep getting better and better. having a super sexy charming co-host in

sherilyn doesn't hurt either. keeps my energy happy and good and flowing.

boxlunch talked me into cleavage and glitter, and it was GREAT! though i do think she bested me on both counts, i mean, gold glitter crocheted top? who can top that? i hear a rumor that photos are forthcoming.

in other fashion news, i was so thrilled to see the fashion wonders that were:

fightingword's simple and totally fetching black dress with boots,

animikwaan's great mod imspired super sexy outfit with nice detail of neckribbon, and

final_girl's amazing use of stripes, safety pins and tulle to have an outfit that made me smile everytime i looked over. brava people, brava! and here of course is where i must mention

borggrrl's shoes, oh yea, bring it on!

got home just as the sexy beast was walking in the door from her night at the movies with an old friend. good times.
had to change my day plans today, which sucks, but i am hoping it will make for more sanity later. that's the theory anyway. later on tonight, writers with drinks, and the beast is coming with me, wahooooooo!
