emchyQueer Open Mic is THIS FRIDAY
we're gonna rock the party like no body!
Join me and Sherilyn Connelly as your mistresses of microphone whie we woo, praise and cheer you on as you spit those fierce and fabulous words!
Feature is Ray Ferrer, maestro of hilariousness. He'll be telling you real life stories of growing up as a cute flaming Latino sissyboy whose love of fashion wasn't always supported by the public school system. Sweet, sensitive and right out amazing funny, Ray will make you laugh. (he is also known by his friece drag persona Coco Lopez)
Open Mic-ers get one piece that is five minutes or less to read. Come over and kick some ass people. (both flowery poems that are sweet and innocent, and transgressive work that emotionally punches people in the chest welcome)
