atlanta?

so looks like i am headed to atlanta solo as rooster is too sick to fly. she's on the anti-biotics but they haven't worked enough of their magic for her to go yet. boooo. so i am renting a car and gonna be flying solo during some daytimes while my awesome host nerak_g is at the day job.

i've never been to atlanta before. so... what should i not miss? neighborhoods i should see? what say you my world traveller peoples?

OMG NINE YEARS

it's a crazy day - but i would be remiss to not mention that i am so happy today to be celebrating nine awesome years with rooster.
we met and crushed out way back in our film festival days. opening night of frameline was our first date back in 1998 and it's been a rollercoaster of win ever since. lotsa hard work. lotsa adventures. lotsa ups and downs and jobs and health and all kinds of art and crazy. i am so happy with our family. so much joy and goodness. who woulda thought nine years could feel like such a short time. happy anniversary muy_macha. here's to nine more.
