kinda swampy today
Oct. 26th, 2007 02:31 pmbusy at work. didn't eat until 2pm. getting SO MUCH done. trying to fight bad impulses. was going to make a ton of queer open mic stickers and then saw how teeny tiny moo's options were. and their postcards are too pricey. so i made a buncha uber cool qom promo images and don't have a use for them... YET! except eye candy here i suppose. WHEE.
i need more coffee.

Charlie Anders at Queer Open Mic TONIGHT

I just wanted to remind you that the absolutely awesome Charlie Anders will be performing at this Fridays Queer Open Mic. Her performance and the whole gosh darned QOM is a benefit for the Pete and Colleen Fund - two very wonderful members of our community who have lost all their shit to an apartment fire. There's a lot going on this Friday night - and I think QOM might just be the funnest - PLUS you can let your own light shine behind the microphone. So come on over, grab a beer, read a poem, have your life changed, find true love and remember to donate some moolah.

Charlie Anders is a dwarf cactus. She wrote a novel, Choir Boy, and co-edited the anthology She's Such A Geek. She publishes other magazine and organizes the Writers With Drinks reading series. Her writing has appeared in McSweeneys.net, Mother Jones, Salon.com, the SF Chronicle, the SF Bay Guardian, Pindeldyboz, ZYZZYVA, Watchword and a bunch of anthologies. She has stuff forthcoming in Sex For America, Fucking Daphne and the MonkeyBicycle humor anthology.
