hilarious awesome vs hilarious dumbass

so on Sunday night coming home from Poppers Shoppers I noticed a kid (17ish, male) trying to park in a spot that his car only kinda fit in. One of those parallel parking jobs that leaves about 6 inches on either side of the car and is kinda hard to navigate. And well... he was clearly having trouble. I saw the size of the spot - right in front of my door - and knew i could get in there no problem. so i decided to wait and see if he could make it in. After a few tries, including bumping the car behind him really hard and landing on the sidewalk he swapped out with another friend. The other friend was cockier and kept looking over at me waiting. He tried three times. Ended up moving the car behind him about 8 inches and burning a lot of rubber, and still couldn't get the car in. By now the other friends they were meeting to go to the restaurant hang out had showed up. About 10 of their friends were now watching and giggling. He drove off.
At which point - I pulled around (I had been waiting across the street) kicked it into reverse and pulled into the spot in one fluid motion. Perfect parking job on the first shot. I heard some of the friends (who were watching to see me struggle with it I would bet) gasp and giggle. When Rooster got out of the car she nodded at one of them and said "hey." They all started snickering / laughing /giving the original driver shit and walking to the restaurant. We got inside the house with our groceries and burst into laughter. It was seriously hilarious.

so today I bought a plastic thingy of bubble gum. It has a snap top and I like it. I was considering putting it in my bag but was worried about it opening and then having nasty gum all over my bag. So at my desk - I turned it upside down and started shaking it vigorously. And of course - it exploded. Gum everywhere. I guess it won't be going into my purse. heh.
